Information Collection

Health and Medical Pty Ltd manages personal information, as an APP Entity, under the New Zealand Privacy Principles.

Information we collect from you will commence when you request information, submit an online enquiry with us via our website, submit job applications and upload content (CVs and/or cover letters) via an online application form as a job seeker, register and create a new employer advertiser account to post ads online, participate in a survey, post a question or answer and request technical support.

MedicalJobsNZ.com and MedicalJobsAustralia.com collectdata that users actively submit on our websites including but not limited to: user advertiser registration details (name, password, email address, address details, gender, occupation, within your user advertiser console.

When job seekers submit job applications via the MedicalJobsNZ.com and MedicalJobsAustralia.com job board's online job application form, and upload content (CVs and/or cover letters), the user information is stored. Health and Medical Pty Ltd collects and stores the job seeker's application details and uploaded content until the employer's advertiser job ad expires.

Information Flow

When we receive personal information we:

  • check that it is reasonably necessary for our functions or activities as New Zealand’s dedicated health and medical jobs site and Australia's biggest health and medical jobs site forclinical professionals and health employees;
  • record and hold your information in our Information Record System;

    For job seekers

    PPersonal information will be collected from you directly when you fill out an online enquiry form, request technical support and submit an online application form to a job listing on MedicalJobsNZ.com and MedicalJobsAustralia.com's job boards.

When a user submits a job application via our online application form, you are:

    • Providing the health and medical employer with your information so they can identify and contact you;
    • Agreeing to forward your online application directly to the health and medical employer advertiser or nominated representative;
    • Consenting to your information being stored in the MedicalJobsNZ.com or MedicalJobsAustralia.com Advertiser Console on behalf of the health and medical employer to manage their recruitment process;
    • Consenting to MedicalJobsNZ.com or MedicalJobsAustralia.com automatically forwarding your online application to the health and medical employer advertiser or nominated representative and,
    • Agreeing to contact the health and medical employer advertiser or their nominated agent directly about your online application or job opportunity status.

    Health and Medical Employer advertisers that register and create new advertiser accounts to post job ads on the MedicalJobsNZ.com and MedicalJobAustralia.com job boards must comply with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy and Cookies and Security and Payments policies and the Privacy Act. Health and Medical Pty Ltd is not responsible for any third- party, health and medical employer's use of your personal information. You have the right to contact the health and medical employer directly to request access to your personal information, submitted as part of your online application form, at any time.

    For Health and Medical Employers

    Personal information about you may be collected:

    • when you complete an online enquiry form, request technical support and complete the online registration form to create a new account to post ads on the MedicalJobsNZ.com or MedicalJobsAustralia.com websites and,
    • electronically through our telecommunications and technology systems.

    The type of information that we typically collect and hold about Health and Medical Employers is information that is necessary to help us manage the presentation and delivery of our services and includes:

    • information submitted and obtained from health and medical employers in connection with registering and creating a new advertiser account to post jobs online;
    • client relationship information;
    • contact details;
    • information about position, contracting and hiring authority, entity details and,
    • financial information such as payment and invoice details.

    TThe security of your personal information is important to us. Payments are done through a secure payment provider, Stripe. We never store credit card details.

    We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

    All user generated contact information and uploaded content is stored on secure Health and Medical Pty Ltd servers and controlled facilities. Health and Medical Pty Ltd employees and contractors are bound to the confidentiality and privacy of your personal information. In the event that your contact information is obtained through unauthorised means, Health and Medical Pty Ltd will not be held legally responsible.

    It is important that health and medical employers, protect their information by keeping their log in details (usernames and passwords) secure.

    When a job seeker chooses to apply to a job board listing via our online application form and upload content (CVs and cover letters) or a health and medical employer chooses to register a free, new advertiser account to manage their advertising and post job ads online, the user is specifically consenting to Health and Medical Pty Ltd's (MedicalJobsNZ.com and/or MedicalJobsAustralia.com) use of your personal information as outlined in our Terms and Conditions, Privacy and Cookies section below.

    How Your Personal Information is Held

    We take a range of measures to protect your personal information.

    When job seekers submit an online application to a job advertisement on our job board, MedicalJobsNZ.com and MedicalJobsAustralia.com temporarily stores user generated information (listed above) on our server - whilst the job ad is active/published online. Once the job ad expires, MedicalJobsNZ.com and MedicalJobsAustralia.com emails the employer the applicant contact information and all stored applicant content details and uploaded content is permanently deleted from our server.

    Whilst active, your personal information is held in our secure database which has restricted access to employees with approved login credentials. Information may also be stored in hard copy filing systems that are locked and only accessed by persons authorised to do so as is reasonably necessary for the proper performance of our functions and activities as online jobs sites in New Zealand and Australia.

    Uploading Logos

    Logos should only be used from companies who have given consent to the display of their logo. Displaying logos without the company's consent may breach privacy laws and you may be responsible for any legal consequences.

    Emails

    Our technology systems log emails received and sent and may include voting, and read and receipt notifications to enable tracking.

    When your email address is received by us, it may be added to a mailing list for the purposes of communicating with you information we feel you would be interested in unless you have specifically requested not to be added to any mailing lists, or you opt-out of receiving communications.

    Call & Message Logs
